Anne Davison:
cello teacher

Anne has many years of experience as a cello instructor with students of all ages. Her warm, encouraging teaching style draws upon many well-established philosophies including Suzuki and Kodaly as well as information gathered from her own extensive experience as a professional cellist.
Anne holds a Master of Music degree in cello performance from Ottawa U. and a Bachelor's degree from U.B.C. and has created a well-rounded approach to suit the needs of many students. While living in Ottawa, Anne taught at l'École secondaire publique De la Salle and was on faculty at the Tutti Muzik Academy. Anne also has experience teaching in groups. She has been a sessional instructor at Jules Quesnel Elementary, Kitsilano Secondary School, Lord Byng Secondary School, and the University of Ottawa. She currently teaches workshops while on tour.
